Some bonus learning:

  • Keep this handout in mind: UMass Breastfeeding Support Resources sheet
  • Check out the Breastfeeding/Nutrition Topic for great reading and videos
  • The NEJM procedural video page has one on neonatal circumcision
  • OpenPediatrics has a newborn physical exam, which you can find easily on the NICU webpage for med students, as well as a new (as of 2021) Newborn Care Curriculum. Per their description: it is an interactive e-learning curriculum on newborn care and delivery room management. The modules compile available evidence and resources to provide practical knowledge for the practicing clinician. Each module was designed to stand alone and does not require prior knowledge from any of the other modules. Modules are intended to be used for self-study or for small-group learning.
